Assistant Principal's Message
Christa Jackson: Stephen Foster Elementary Assistant Principal
We are excited to introduce Christa Jackson as the Assistant Principal at Stephen Foster Elementary! With a deep-rooted passion for education, Mrs. Jackson's journey began as a substitute teacher, where she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that dedicated educators can have on students. This inspired her to pursue a career in teaching and leadership, and she has spent the past seven years in various roles within TK-6 settings.
Mrs. Jackson holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton, and a Master's in Educational Leadership. She has successfully implemented new reading and writing programs that have significantly improved literacy rates, led professional development workshops for staff, and created initiatives to boost parent engagement and community involvement.
At the heart of Mrs. Jackson's mission is the vision of fostering a positive school culture that supports every student’s social-emotional development. She envisions Stephen Foster Elementary as a hub of educational excellence where collaboration between staff, students, and families thrives.
Outside of her professional achievements, Christa cherishes her family time. She lives with her supportive husband, who works in aerospace, and their son, who is entering his sophomore year of high school. They also share their home with Meeka, their beloved dog who thinks she’s human!
Mrs. Jackson is genuinely excited to join our community and looks forward to working together to create a vibrant learning environment for all students. Please join us in welcoming her to Stephen Foster Elementary!
