Principal's Message

Hello Foster Family!

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! As I am new to Foster and Bellflower Unified, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! I have been in education for over 25 years, and I am thrilled to continue my journey as the principal here at Stephen Foster. I’ve taught most grades from TK–8, and I genuinely LOVE all things teaching and learning!

A few fun facts about me:

My furry companion: My Labradoodle, Olive Bean, is my best girl!

A few favorite things: The color yellow, cheese, oat milk vanilla lattes, and polka dots.

Outdoors: Hiking, going to the beach, and patio chats are my happy places.

Music: Singing and playing percussion is my jam.

Adventure: Traveling is where I find so much joy.

We are going to have an amazing year filled with progress, growth, and success. My priority is to serve our staff, scholars, and families, and I can't wait to see all the incredible learning that takes place this year.
